ODOT 3000 (11) - Columbus Crossroads Project
Supplying and installing approximately 9,300,000 pounds of rebar for the first phase of the Columbus Crossroads Project, which is the biggest active project in Central Ohio. The project consists of Twenty-two new bridges being built as well as several MSE and CIP walls. This project is the reconstruction of the I-71/670 interchange which will improve safety, reduce congestion and connect neighborhoods. It is adding a new travel lane on I-670 and reduces weaving across traffic lanes to exits. Below is a rendering of completed project. J&B Steel peaked with 28 Ironworkers on this project.
